Singapore Bars and Nightlife.

Chijmes: Three Quays: Mohammed Sultan Road: Orchard Road: Chinatown.

If you remember those five names (above) you will not go wrong in Singapore - Something for everyone, and always something leftover - but that's the beauty of the nightlife in Singapore.

Perhaps wise to leave the children behind for your trip down to Orchard Road. The Three Quays area , so named .... Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay (clever eh).

Chijmes (pronounced Chimes), a really great area backdropped by one of the last few cloistered convents in the world, paked with good restaurants and bars.

Chinatown. Times are a changing. The opium's gone and the bar designers have arrived. Still a great place though - You need to go there.

Then last but by no means least there's Mohammed Sultan Road.
The opening of a bar called the "Front Page" in 1991 was to change this place forever. It became the original party street, and despite the change in crowds and tastes has since 2003/4 put itself firnmly back in the No1 spot.
